ABOUT

Nate Heitzig is an energetic, effective communicator gifted with the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. He has been the featured speaker at Forest Home and The Cove youth camps and at evangelical events across the United States. His audiences have ranged in size from intimate groups of one hundred to stadium-filled groups of 20,000. Nate has appeared on TV and radio broadcasts and currently hosts Shock Therapy, a live weekly radio show.

Although Nate was raised in the church, by the time he entered high school, church had become a chore. But God captured Nate’s attention while training for a mission trip to Scotland, and in 2003 he began serving in ministry full-time under Levi Lusko in Southern California. In 2005, Nate was invited to India to speak at churches and colleges across the country. It was a life-changing experience that ignited a passion to reach the unreachable with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Nate and Janaé married in 2008 and they have two children, Seth and Kaydence. Nate currently serves as the chief pastoral officer at Calvary Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is driven to pioneer and inspire the staff, congregation, and servant volunteers to fully engage in the mission, vision, and purpose of the church.

Nate enjoys traveling, snowboarding, surfing, bicycling, and paddle boarding. He is always eager to learn new things, most recently, fly-fishing. Nate has a passion for sharing the Word of God, especially with individuals and populations typically considered unreachable. When he reflects on all that God has done, Nate is thrilled for what the Lord has in store going forward.
